On Saturday night Glastonbury goers will get to choose between listening to Kanye West rapping about the ‘N’ word, or 2 hours of George Osbourne MP justifying the 2015 budget.
“We had to top Kanye somehow. What better way than the Chancellor of the Exchequer himself?” said organiser Emily Eavis. “Festival goers will be literally spoilt for choice.”
“We will be shutting down all other attractions during the Saturday night. So you’re going to have to choose one way or the other.”
“If you do choose Kanye, comfortable seating and tea will be provided. So there’s that.”
Fans are reportedly looking forward to hearing Osbourne’s recent hits, including his rendition of the positive impact of abolishing Class 2 National Insurance payments for the self-employed.
“I can’t wait to hear Osbourne discuss his reasons for freezing petrol tax” said Glastonbury goer Jerome Bustyfield. “I did hear he goes quite in-depth, but it’s still going to be better than having to endure ‘Gold Digger’.”
