Man spotted giving “dickhead” hand motion
BREAKING: A man has been spotted between Paulton and Norton performing the antiquated “dickhead” vibrating hand motion to another motorist, in what has been described as an incredibly rare sighting.
Jerome Bustyfield, a 55-year-old office worker and dad-of-three from Midsomer Norton who still thinks broadband Internet is a fad and we’re all going to end up going back to dial-up, was spotted giving the obsolete phallic hand gesture in front of his forehead while loudly shouting ‘dickhead’ after a motorist cut him up on the ‘heading to Tesco’ roundabout at the bottom of Phillis Hill.
“I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing.” Dan Dante, a cyclist and eyewitness said. “I haven’t seen that sort of cursing since 1997. He wasn’t even doing it ironically.”
“I mean, in today’s world, there are just so many contemporary alternatives. Like ‘spunktrumpet’ or even the slightly cringe L sign across the head. But you have to have a begrudging respect to those that stick with the absolute classics.”
“They did, after all, get us through the war. Probably.”
Gina DeCampo from the National Institute of Offensive Hand Gestures told us “In the current post-Brexit political climate, we’re seeing somewhat of a resurgence of offensive slang that had thought to be near extinction, as many middle-aged men who assumed their once-treasured insults had been banned by Brussels now feel more empowered now we’re a true self-governing nation. Or something along those lines.”
We approached Bustyfield for comment who muttered something about “stop being a berk” before storming off to Screwfix on the Industrial Estate since it was a Saturday afternoon.
