Light bulb spotters brave weather for evening display

Avid light bulb spotters braved the rain last night for the annual lighting solutions fiesta.

Dozens of mobile carts on wheels paraded down the High Street last night, showcasing some of the world’s rarest and most renowned light bulbs, in what many are dubbing the planet’s most impressive and diverse array of lighting solutions ever to grace one location.

“Today I saw the Ushio 300 Watt, 6150 Kelvin Energy Smart 8x series light bulb.” said light bulb spotter Iain Peacock,

“I heard rumours it would be making an appearance. I’ve been trying to cross that one off the list for bloody years.”

“The only problem is that some twat dressed in a robot costume kept dancing in front of it.

Anyone would have though the display was all about him.”

Amateur light bulb enthusiast Jerome Bustyfield was equally impressed,

“Any lighting hardware aficionado worth his salt would have been in Midsomer Norton last night. The bulbs on display were simply breath taking.

When I got home, flicked the light switch on and saw my 60 Watt Argos-value bulb switch on I just scowled at my wife and went to bed.”
