73% of people who visit Midsomer Norton do so after mistakenly believing it is where ITV drama Midsomer Murders is filmed, a survey has revealed.
Dan Dante, a spokesperson for the Midsomer Norton Tourist board, was embittered by the survey results.
“If we’ve said it once we’ve said it a thousand times. No, we’re not where Midsomer bloody Murders is filmed. Now fuck off.”
Local resident Iain Peacock had a similar response,
“I’m sick and tired of being approached by confused tourists asking me where I can find John shitting Nettles.”
“If one more tit asks me ‘isn’t that where that Midsomer Murders it set?’ I simply can’t be held responsible for my actions”
